How it works
Enter the bank details
Recipient, IBAN, EDRPOU or RNOKPP, and a payment reference. The amount is optional — the payer can enter it.
Check the code
The generator verifies the IBAN and code check digits. A QR code with a mistake that would lose the money never appears.
Save or print it
PNG for messengers, SVG for print shops, a payment link for phones. Or a ready A5 card for your counter.
Check a QR code
Got a QR code from a supplier or made one with another service? Paste the link or upload a photo, and we’ll show what’s inside and whether the bank details are valid.
Payment QR code questions
What is an NBU payment QR code?
It’s a National Bank of Ukraine standard (Resolution No. 97 of 19 August 2025, in force since 1 November 2025). The code holds the recipient, IBAN, code, amount and payment reference. The payer scans it with a camera or banking app and sees the payment already filled in.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
It’s free and needs no sign-up. The code is created in your browser: your bank details aren’t sent to our server or stored anywhere.
What’s the difference between formats 002 and 003?
002 is the standard format that every banking app reads. 003 is newer: it adds an invoice number, payment category and a due date after which the payment is refused. If the payer’s bank can’t open 003, use 002.
Can I leave the amount empty?
Yes. Leave the field empty and the payer enters the amount. That works well for a sticker at the counter where the amount changes every time.
Why won’t the generator accept my IBAN or code?
We verify check digits: the IBAN’s per ISO 13616, and the check digit of the EDRPOU or RNOKPP. Usually it’s a missing or swapped digit. Compare the details with your bank statement or account agreement.
Why is there a hryvnia sign in the middle?
The NBU requires it: the sign on a white circle tells the payer it’s a payment code, not an ordinary link. The code still scans, because its error correction allows for the sign.
Is there a fee for paying by QR?
The generator charges nothing. A transfer fee, if any, is set by the payer’s bank, just like for a regular bank transfer.
Do I need a fiscal receipt (RRO or PRRO) for QR payments?
According to the State Tax Service of Ukraine’s clarifications, a payment by NBU QR code to the IBAN of a current account is a non-cash transfer, and generally doesn’t require an RRO or PRRO fiscal receipt. This isn’t legal advice: the rules depend on your situation, so check with your accountant.
Can I print the QR code?
Yes. The “Print A5” button prepares a card with the code and bank details for your counter or shop window. For a print shop, download the SVG: it stays sharp at any size.
